The Girls & Boys Track teams traveled to Siloam Springs last night - 4/1 - to compete in their 2021 Season Opener.
The Girls finished Runner Up out of 8 teams participating in the meet! Addison Fenton was the high point scorer for the Girls, meaning she was the highest individual scorer in the meet. Highlights of athletes' individual scores: Addison Fenton (12th) finished first in Long Jump and 100 meter hurdles, 2nd in High Jump and 300 meter hurdles, and 3rd in Shot Put. Lynley Bowen (11th) finished 1st in Triple Jump and 2nd in Long Jump and 400 meter. Grace Mitchell (12th) finished 3rd in 100 meter.
The Boys finished 7th out of 8 teams. Highlights of athletes' individual scores: Zach Akridge (12th) finished 1st in the 400 meter dash. Mason Gansz (11th) finished 3rd in 3200 meter dash. Josh Blakley (10th) got 3rd in High Jump.
