Farmington High School Administrators hosted class meetings yesterday to ensure all students are well informed and well prepared for the upcoming school year. Students in AP Statistics explored the Farmington wilderness to learn about sampling versus census and how some methods of sampling can lead to bias. It was a great way to learn while enjoying the weather! #Cardstudentsareworthit

Farmington High School teachers have been hard at work this week getting ready for students to come through our doors on August 14th! In the middle of all that hard work, they made time to have some fun, too! Today it was in the form of playing music trivia to win the coveted FHS Olympics Trophy. #cardstudentsareworthit




Farmington FFA hosted the 2nd annual Farmington Local Livestock Show. We would like to thank all of the friends and families that came out! It was a fun night for students to gain ring experience, and for parents and grandparents to fellowship. #cardstudentsareworthit

Congratulations to Farmington FFA member Chloie Mae Thomas who was awarded the All-Around Senior Cowgirl, Senior Girl Goat Tying Champion, and Senior Girl Trail Reserve Champion! She qualified to the Little Britches National Finals in all 6 events that she competed in this year! #Cardstudentsareworthit


Parents, did you know that if your child is a member, they qualify for a chance at FHS PTSA scholarships their senior year? These go where your child goes (4 year, 2 year, Vocational programs, etc). You can sign up and pay your membership fee for the 23-24 school year today using the link below. $5 per person (student OR parent). Make sure to write the member name on the memo when paying! If paying for more than one membership, you should be able to enter the total amount instead of paying separately.

Parents of Returning FHS Students (and this includes upcoming Sophomores)!
Please check your email in order to find the link and your snapcode to verify your contact information in PowerSchool.
Also, within that email you will find a link to a Google form to required documents that you need to complete in order to be able to receive your student's schedule.
We will have Returning Student Registration on the following dates/times at the High School Commons:
August 2nd: 8:00-3:00
August 3rd: 8:00-3:00
August 4th: 8:00-11:00
We will verify that all of the documents have been completed and then your student will be able to receive their schedule for the upcoming year. If you cannot show up on these dates, then you can stop by the HS office the following week to complete the process.
Also, if you would like to purchase your Parking Permit at Registration, bring $10 (cash or check).
