The Division of Elementary and Secondary Education is providing no cost background checks for individuals interested in supporting their local schools by becoming a substitute teacher. In order to complete the expedited, free process, background checks must be completed at either DESE or one of the local education service cooperatives. Kindergarten Registration for 2022-2023 school year opens online on March 1st. Kindergarten screenings are April 21st @ Jerry Pop Williams and @ Bob Folsom Elementary 8:15-10:30 and 1:00-2:15.
When you come for screenings- your child will go with a teacher for 5 to 10 minutes and then will be brought right back to you. We will also have school tours during screening times on April 21st.
On April 21st you will have time to come through the school office to make sure your online registration is complete.
