These readers are ready are you? We're thrilled to announce that our Read-A-Thon is underway! We have had almost 100 of our 400+ students sign up, let's make that number rise! If you haven't already, please take a moment to activate your child’s personal reader page by clicking on the following link: https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/323739373530 Remember it costs nothing to participate. Students can earn prizes through reading and getting donations. The library gets 75% of all donations made. The rest goes to students to spend in a prize store and a little goes to the company that runs the website. Funds are used to purchase books throughout the year, prizes for the school wide reading program, and many other things to enhance your child's library time. Thank you for continued support. Bob Folsom Elementary has decided to hold a Read-A-Thon again this year! Read-A-Thons actually get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more. Our Read-A-Thon starts Monday April 15, 2024. About one week before our Read-A-Thon starts we will send home instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress. We encourage you to activate your reader’s account today by clicking on https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/323739373530/1 and following the simple instructions. We've chosen Read-A-Thon because it will not take much of your time, gives your child a reason to read and helps in the development of stronger reading skills. We hope EVERYONE participates.
