Bob Folsom Elementary Library has decided to hold a Read-a-thon this year!
Read-a-thons actually get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more.
Our Read-a-thon starts Monday January 30, 2023.
About one week before our Read-a-thon starts we will send home instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress.
We encourage you to activate your reader’s account today by clicking on https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/mYZbFo/1 and following the simple instructions.
We've chosen Read-a-thon because it will not take much of your time, gives your child a reason to read and helps in the development of stronger reading skills.
We hope EVERYONE participates.

In preparation for the possible weather, we need to know if you will need a computer sent home, when we do send them home, in the case of AMI days. 2023-2024 Kindergarten registration opens online on February 1st. On March 30th bring your student in for a 15 minute screening and a school tour. 8:15- 10:30 OR 1:00-2:15.
Dinosaurs invaded our library this week. They brought the book What the Dinosaurs Did at School with them. Rumors are they plan to spend the month. #cardstudentsareworthit #ESED
Farmington elementary and middle schools are all RISE award winning literacy schools. We want to continue to reinforce those skills in our students. At halftime of the Sr. Girls game we would like to invite all elementary aged students to come down to the PAC lobby to listen to a short story read by Mr. Laffoon!
