Look at all these cozy readers today! Between classwork and playing in the snow today is a great day to get some reading in for our Read-a-thon. Just a quick update: the last day to record minutes will be Monday the 7th, after that everyone has 10 days to collect any last minute donations and shop for their rewards (I will send reminders out). As I am typing this our top three classes are: 1. Mrs, Wisdom; 2. Miss R. Davis; and 3. Mrs. Vanzant. The top class will get a special surprise and recess from me. Last year our families raised a little of $9,000 which has allowed us to get many new, student requested books as well as the new reading program (AR). As of right now we are very close to matching, if not beating that total. We are around $7,200! Our families are the absolute best! Folsom students receiving their Thank-you gifts from the American Heart Association. As a school, we raised $2,800. We had several students raise over $200 individually. Our top fundraiser was 1st grader, Charlee Southerland. Folsom's Read-a-thon is up and running. Lots of reading being seen throughout the library. If you have not signed up yet, please do, the link is below. There is no cost to sign-up and share and your child gets a reward from me, but it might mean an extra donation for the library.
